A-1 Vegetation Management is a locally owned and family-operated business proudly serving Redding, CA and the surrounding Northern California communities. Our owner, Mike Bertell, began his career as a groundsman with A-1 Tree Service & Stump Removal and worked his way up through every role in the company before purchasing it. With more than 30 years of combined experience in the Redding area, Mike and our team know the climate, the terrain, and the needs of our customers better than anyone.
Expanding into vegetation management was a natural next step — allowing us to go far beyond traditional tree service or landscaping. We focus on fire safety, land health, and compliance, offering services like tree and plant health treatments, weed and invasive species control, lot clearing, and pest management. Our mission is simple: to protect, restore, and maintain the landscapes our community depends on.
